WARHAMMER HORUS HERESY: LEGIONES ASTARTES MAXIMUS BATTLE GROUP

Many of the Legiones Astartes make heavy use of MkIV 'Maximus' power armour. The most visibly distinct details of this mark of armour are the separated, squared knee pads, thin-trimmed shoulder pads, and helmets with long, broad face guards with slanting vents.

This force is built around a core of MkIV Tactical Legionaries and MkIV Assault Legionaries, and supported by a mighty Sicaran Battle Tank and a towering Contemptor Dreadnought. When taken together, they form a highly versatile and balanced army capable of handling any threat.

Because these miniatures bear no Legion-specific markings, they can be painted to match any of the 18 Legiones Astartes forces—allowing you to stay fiercely loyal to the Emperor or join Warmaster Horus in his galaxy-spanning rebellion! • MkIV Tactical Squad: Build up to two Sergeants armed with plasma pistols alongside a choice of power fist, lightning claw, or power sword. Up to 2 models can carry a communication nuncio-vox, and another 2 can bear a back-mounted Legion Vexilla. Includes 20 helmeted heads, 12 bare heads, and 36 shoulder pads. Fully compatible with the included accessory frames.
• MkIV Assault Squad: Features specialized options to build a Sergeant with 2 power fists, 2 power claws, or a mixed loadout of a fist/claw and a bolt pistol. Includes 10 helmeted heads, 2 bare heads, 18 shoulder pads, 10 power lance upgrades, and 15 loose combat accessories.
• Sicaran Battle Tank: Armed with turret-mounted accelerator autocannons and a hull-mounted heavy bolter. Customize the side sponsons with your choice of heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite culverins. Includes pintle-mount options (havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a 5-configuration combi-weapon) alongside a searchlight, hunter-killer missile, dozer blade, and options for a gunner, spotter, or closed hatch.
• Contemptor Dreadnought: Includes 8 different arm-mounted ranged weapons to choose from (conversion beam cannon, Gravis autocannon, Gravis bolt cannon, Gravis lascannon, Gravis melta cannon, Gravis plasma cannon, Kheres assault cannon, and volkite dual-culverin).
